I can't see the map. Why?

Hi guys,

if I press M to see the map, it opens the map window but only shows the icons (like iron, ?, my land claim etc.) and the fog. I can't see the map itself, like the land/states/continents...

I already reinstalled the game but nothing changed. I hope you can help me...

Hi,
this an old bug which presents itself randomly on some graphic cards (usually the old ones).
I'm afraid to say that so far no one managed to solve it.
